About the Role

Banner Health is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, assisting in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures on patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures under the direction of a qualified physician.
  • Operate diagnostic and therapeutic equipment used for procedures efficiently and maintain a safe environment for patients, personnel, and visitors.
  • Monitor and record ECG and pressure waves during procedures and provide other aspects of patient care as needed.
  • Prepare instruments for cleaning following each case and dispose of sharps and trash.
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
  • Completion of a Cardiovascular Invasive program or equivalent experience.
  • BLS required. ACLS may be required depending on assignment.
  • Must have successfully passed the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) exams.
