About the Role

Banner Health is seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art Cardiac Cath Lab, assisting in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures on patients.

As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will work under the direction of a qualified physician, assisting in procedures such as cardiac catheterization, multi-interventions, device implants, electrophysiology, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).

You will be part of a multifaceted team, working in a challenging and educational environment that requires the ability to maintain professional decorum in highly stressful emergent situations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cardiovascular invasive procedures, with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab in a hospital setting or meeting the requirements of certification board.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures on patients.
  • Operate all diagnostic and therapeutic equipment used for procedures efficiently.
  • Monitor and record ECG and pressure waves during procedures.
  • Provide other aspects of patient care as needed.
  • Accountable for the ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities related to the scope of practice.
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
  • Completion of a Cardiovascular Invasive program or equivalent experience.
  • BLS required. ACLS may be required depending on assignment.
  • Must have successfully passed the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) exams.
