About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to join our team at CommonSpirit Health. As a Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering excellent patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting.

Responsibilities:

As a Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for:

• Independently operating all ancillary equipment in the lab, including IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser, and angiojet.

• Demonstrating competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilizing good radiation safety practices, and making a positive impact on internal and external customers.

• Thoroughly and accurately imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the imaging order, routinely applying sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself, and mechanically aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• A graduate degree from an approved CVT program, with a bachelor's degree preferred.

• Five (5) years of current experience as a CRT with hands-on scrub experience within a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, with experience as a cardiovascular monitoring technologist to include but not limited to A-Line and IV insertion and all modalities within the Cath Lab.

• Current Radiology License (ARRT) and current Arizona State License (MRTBE), with Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent certification required, and current American Heart Association ACLS and BLS certifications.
