Job Title: Wound Care Nurse Specialist

About the Role

The Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a skilled Wound Care Nurse Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and develop wound care plans for patients with complex wounds, ensuring timely and effective treatment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate wound care services, including dressing changes, debridement, and other treatments
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers on wound care management and prevention strategies
  • Conduct regular assessments and document patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Current and valid RN license
  • Active CPR certification
  • Point Click a Plus experience preferred
  • Wound care certification desired
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in long-term care or gerontology preferred but not required
Compensation and Benefits

This salaried position offers a competitive salary range of up to $100,000 per year, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, health, dental, vision, and 401(k) retirement savings plan.
