Job Summary

BioMarin Pharmaceutical is seeking a highly skilled Talent and Organization Effectiveness Manager to join our team. As a key member of our corporate groups, you will play a critical role in driving the development and execution of enterprise talent management programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement enterprise-level talent management programs, including career management and talent flow initiatives.
  • Support the design and development of the enterprise-level talent review and succession planning approach, program management, analytics, and executive presentations.
  • Drive the development and execution of organization effectiveness initiatives, focusing on defining program frameworks, strategies, and roadmaps.
  • Consult on organization design, change management, and talent performance challenges in partnership with HR leaders and client groups.
  • Build relationships and communicate with People Managers and People Business Partners, analyzing needs, developing programs, and executing cadence.
Foundational Capabilities
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrate the ability to understand business needs, conduct current state baselines, define business cases, and develop program frameworks, strategies, and roadmaps.
  • Data/Analytical Judgment: Work with existing information systems to gather and analyze data, synthesize qualitative and quantitative data, and develop actionable insights.
  • Organization Acumen/Temperament: Operate with optimal direction, push through challenges, and provide honest opinions while being flexible and focused on team success.
  • Technical Knowledge: Develop fit-for-purpose solutions with a bias toward simple, minimum viable solutions that can be adopted within the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Learning and Development, Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Communications, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in mid-to-large size companies.
  • Experience working end-to-end talent and/or organization effectiveness solutions.
  • Program management of large-scale initiatives.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in interacting with data, reports, and information systems.
Preferred Requirements
  • Mix of strategy or human capital consulting and industry experience.
  • Global experience.

BioMarin Pharmaceutical is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates. The salary range for this position is $122,000 to $183,000 per year, and the base pay will be determined based on internal equity and geographic region. A discretionary bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
