Job Title: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our team at AWARE. As an APRN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to individuals in our community.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Obtaining vital health information for residents in group homes and documenting in the electronic health record.
  • Working with existing protocols and personnel to train and assist residential staff in collecting necessary medical information.
  • Performing and/or overseeing health screening processes as appropriate to different settings within AWARE.
  • Providing leadership and expertise to group home staff in caring for residents with chronic medical conditions.
  • Providing back-up to other nurses in AWARE for vacations and emergencies, or special-need situations.
  • Traveling to group home or clinic locations in central-western Montana one or more times per week, and/or working with staff and patients via telehealth.
  • Working within a treatment team to help provide coordinated mental/behavioral health care to patients.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
  • Current APRN certification in psychiatric-mental health nursing.
  • At least one year of experience in psychiatric nursing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
