Contract opportunity with one of our esteemed
Financial/Compliance partners.


The ideal candidate will possess a degree in law and relevant experience, with a willingness to work onsite. A keen interest in dispute resolution is advantageous but not mandatory.


Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze arbitration documents
• Assign arbitrators to cases
• Manage electronic filing systems
• Coordinate administrative processes with legal counsel and arbitrators
• Organize conference calls and meeting arrangements

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of one year of experience in legal or securities fields; or
  • A Paralegal certification accompanied by three years of experience in case administration.
  • Strong leadership capabilities are preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with efficiency and precision.
  • Must work effectively within a team and collaborate to meet deadlines.
  • A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and professional demeanor are required.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills are crucial.
  • Candidates must exhibit discretion and sound judgment due to the sensitive nature of the work.
  • Proficiency in using desktop computers and the complete suite of office software applications.

Future Responsibilities:

  • This role involves a variety of specific tasks, including applying analytical skills to interpret rules and regulations.
  • This is a professional-level position where incumbents will fulfill their designated roles, utilizing their skills under available supervision.
  • Manage individual case assignments effectively.
  • Assess assigned cases for accuracy and completeness, proactively addressing potential issues.
  • Serve as a liaison between parties and arbitrators to facilitate the resolution of pre-hearing motions and requests.
  • Ensure timely handling of motions for the panel.
  • Provide guidance on procedural matters and arbitration rules to the panel.
  • Respond to inquiries from parties regarding pre and post-award matters, both orally and in writing.
  • Address customer complaints through effective communication.
  • Attend hearings as necessary to observe the fairness of proceedings.
  • Draft and issue awards that resolve all submitted issues promptly.
  • Close cases efficiently while ensuring financial accuracy.
  • Evaluate the performance of arbitrators at the conclusion of cases.
  • Monitor post-award litigation.
  • Initiate disciplinary referrals as needed.
