Prestige Legal Solutions, P.C. is a comprehensive lemon law firm situated in Los Angeles, dedicated to assisting California clients who have encountered issues with defective vehicles qualifying as lemons.
We are in search of a Legal Case Manager with prior experience in case management, ideally within the Lemon Law sector. This is a full-time, salaried role, tasked with overseeing various responsibilities as designated by the Director of Case Managers, along with their assigned Paralegal and/or attorney.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement legal strategies and support all related efforts.
- Provide constructive feedback on operational functions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, Paralegals, and lead Attorneys.
- Propose strategies to enhance quality, efficiency, and other improvements.
- Maintain consistent communication with assigned clients and track case progress until resolution.
- Occasionally reach out to clients (at least monthly) to provide updates on their case status.
- Review incoming cases to ensure completeness upon receipt.
- Collaborate closely with the team to address client concerns and inquiries, including non-standard case matters.
- Manage the scheduling of depositions, discovery deadlines, and other critical dates.
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls, including regular client communications and documentation requests.
- Oversee a portfolio of lemon law cases from initiation to resolution.
- Ensure timely communication with clients and provide updates on their cases.
- Organize and maintain electronic case files within the firm's software/case management system through filing and scanning.
Additional Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred, as a significant portion of our clientele is Hispanic, and the candidate will assist with translation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and legal management software is essential.
- Experience in trial preparation, discovery, document production, and document management is advantageous.
