Guest Room Attendant

Renault Winery Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are seeking a Guest Room Attendant to join our team. As a Guest Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring hotel rooms are clean, orderly, and attractive, and ready for use to meet guest arrival schedules.
Responsibilities:- Promote and portray the VIVMEE Values of JOY, HUMILITY, and MINISTRY.
- Understand and adhere to company-established policies and procedures.
- Respond promptly to guests' needs.
- Perform daily cleaning operations in guest rooms according to company standards, including changing bed linens, towels, cleaning the bathroom, dusting, vacuuming, and removing trash.
- Refresh rooms for guests staying multiple nights by changing towels, making beds, replacing amenities, etc.
- Make up sofa beds when required.
- Ensure the correct number of towels, washcloths, face cloths, and amenities are left in each room.
- Familiarize yourself with all rooms and restock housekeeping carts.
- Observe and report repairs and damages as needed.
- Replace light bulbs, hangers, irons, clocks, etc. as needed.
- Fold and assemble all sheets, pillowcases, and blankets when returned from laundry.
- Decorate rooms with swans and flowers for special occasions.
- Provide turndown service for special holidays.
- Strip down all rooms upon checkout, take towels to the basement, and take sheets and blankets to storage bins.
- Remove all trash, turn off lights, and air conditioners upon checkout during shifts.
- Assist maintenance with vacuuming halls and dusting furniture on the 2nd floor lobby when needed.
- Sort towels and sheets, load the washing machine, load the dryer, and fold items from the dryer.
- Deep clean rooms two times a year or when required, assisted by maintenance.
- Previous hotel-related experience is desired.
- Ability to read, speak, understand, and communicate in basic English is preferred.
- Lift up to 40lbs.
