Key Responsibilities- Sanitation and Cleaning: Maintain a clean and sanitized environment for our pets, including their enclosures and general boarding areas.
- Pet Care: Provide clean bedding and fresh water to each pet guest, and ensure they receive the correct type and quantity of food for each meal.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and accurately chart the consumption and elimination of each pet guest, and report any issues to the General Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Pet Safety and Well-being: Visually check pet guests for safety and well-being throughout the day, and ensure they have clean water at all times.
- Excrement Removal: Check and pick up excrement from enclosures and other areas as needed throughout the day.
- Pet Belongings: Monitor pet belongings, clean them as needed, and assure their return to owners.
- Food Preparation Areas: Maintain and clean food preparation areas.
- Pet Bedding and Towels: Perform daily laundering of pet bedding and towels.
- Expertise and Experience: Must be a pet fanatic, with professional animal care/kennel experience preferred.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and frequently lift 40 pounds.
- Communication Skills: Displays a professional manner at all times.
- Competitive Pay: $15.13/hour
