Director of Corporate Relations

The Tech Interactive is seeking a seasoned professional to serve as Director of Corporate Relations, responsible for maintaining a portfolio of corporate donors and building meaningful relationships with high-level executives from companies that will financially support our mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of top companies, identifying opportunities, developing strategy, and cultivating relationships to secure financial support.
  • Understand a corporation's capacity for support and align their priorities with The Tech's mission.
  • Work closely with corporate staff, The Tech's Board of Directors, and staff to develop projects and bring them to corporations.
  • Initiate face-to-face visits with corporate personnel, coordinate briefings, and debrief after visits.
  • Compose, edit, and coordinate written materials, including proposals and budgets.
  • Ensure stewardship is conducted in connection with awards and participate in the stewardship process.
  • Consult with and educate volunteers/staff in corporate fundraising and assist leadership in implementing strategies.
Requirements and Skills:
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in corporate fundraising with demonstrated success in achieving fundraising goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and conduct successful meetings with C-level executives, board members, volunteers, and executive staff.
  • Ability to thrive in a complex and dynamic environment, managing competing priorities and networking to bring funders to The Tech.
  • Experience managing committees to achieve fundraising goals and using a CRM system to track relationships and meet fundraising goals.
Working Conditions and Schedule:

This is an on-site role with the possibility of flexibility for working some days at an alternative work location. Flexibility will vary depending on the needs of the job. Working occasional evenings and weekends will be required.

Compensation: $115,000/year, commensurate with experience
