Retail IT Operations Manager

This position requires you to spearhead IT projects, manage integration efforts, and provide comprehensive support to retail locations while working closely with various internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • IT Project Leadership: Oversee IT initiatives both internally and in collaboration with external partners, ensuring effective implementation and ongoing support.
  • Manage integration projects for retail systems, coordinating project management tasks and facilitating change management processes.
  • Identify potential project risks proactively, monitor internal workflows, and ensure compliance with established operational procedures.
  • Act as the main liaison for customers during pre and post-implementation phases, creating best practice workflows.
  • Investigate emerging retail technology solutions and propose enhancements to current systems.
  • Retail Store Support: Deliver daily assistance to retail locations, address IT support tickets, and aid in the launch of new stores and system integrations.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure prompt inventory processing for financial reconciliation.
  • Work alongside finance and key stakeholders to develop operational reports and analyses, troubleshoot transaction systems, and lead the gathering of business requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in a Retail Operations Management role
  • Comprehensive understanding of retail operations, merchandising strategies, and customer service excellence
  • Familiarity with SAP integrations is advantageous
  • Willingness to be available on weekends to support retail teams
  • Analytical thinker with strong communication skills and the ability to analyze data effectively
  • Knowledge of inventory management, supply chain processes, logistics, and retail software
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related discipline
  • Results-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement
