Job Overview

As a Wealth Management Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial advisory team. This position involves collaborating closely with advisors to enhance client experiences and ensure meticulous attention to detail in financial planning processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide essential technical assistance to advisors in the firm.
  • Actively participate in planning meetings, translating discussions into actionable items that drive financial planning initiatives.
  • Gather and organize necessary documentation to aid advisors in preparing for client interactions.
  • Prepare agendas and supporting materials for client meetings, ensuring follow-up on action items.
  • Maintain accurate client data and document communications and tasks in the CRM system.
  • Generate and update financial performance reports using various software tools, ensuring precise record-keeping.
  • Assist in integrating retirement planning services.
  • Manage client documents and communications efficiently.
  • Implement client planning strategies effectively.
  • Foster ongoing relationships with colleagues and clients, understanding their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Stay informed on trends in the financial planning sector.
  • Recommend innovative tools and resources to enhance the firm's offerings.
Qualifications
  • CFP designation required
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Life and Variable Insurance license
  • Series 7 preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Paraplanner; 5-7 years in wealth planning
  • Experience with tax returns, trading, and insurance; broad product knowledge and familiarity with estate planning
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Emoney is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Team-oriented with a focus on people
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
  • Demonstrated stability and progression in career
