Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source and close new business to consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Verkada's products and their value proposition
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, demos, proposals, and closing deals
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting
  • Exceed sales targets through aggressive outbound efforts, including phone calls, emails, demos, and trials
  • Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to customers and channel partners
  • Collaborate with Channel Partners and Technical Support to ensure smooth launches and drive future product growth
  • Provide market and client feedback to Verkada's product and engineering teams
Requirements
  • At least 2+ years of sales experience in a quota-carrying capacity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and nurture relationships
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, competitive, and fast-paced startup environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus
  • High level of tenacity, drive to learn, and self-motivation

At Verkada, we offer a competitive salary range of $85,000-$220,000 USD, depending on location and experience. We also offer additional forms of compensation, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
