About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at The Boston Beer Company. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts in the Philadelphia market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Account Management: Sell our entire product portfolio to new and existing accounts, with a focus on increasing availability and visibility of our products.
  • Account Development: Identify major accounts that are not currently selling our products and develop a plan to establish business with these accounts.
  • Merchandising and Display: Improve conditions and merchandise accounts by building displays, resetting coolers, and displaying point-of-sale items to increase visibility of our brand.
  • Partnerships and Collaborations: Partner with distributors to ensure orders are placed, products are received, and business is growing at accounts.
  • Education and Training: Conduct waitstaff / bartender educations, beer tastings, and evening promotions to increase sales and brand awareness.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1+ years of proven results-oriented experience in outside sales or within the food and beverage industry.
  • Skills: Intense competitive spirit, assertive and confident personality, valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle, ability to lift and move cases of beer frequently, and ability to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point-of-sale items frequently.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Competitive Salary: $45,900 - $64,320 annually based on location and experience level.
  • Annual Discretionary Bonus: Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
