Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Monitor Specialist to join our team at St. Joseph Medical Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor ECG/Dysrhythmia in a physician's office, clinic, hospital, or similar setting.
  • Maintain current certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Knowledge of basic anatomy/physiology of the heart.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, clinicians, and the general public.
  • Work under moderate pressure for extended periods.
  • Accept responsibility for accuracy and response times to emergent and non-emergent requests.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of SJMC Clinical Education and Professional Development Dysrhythmia course and EKG exam prior to completion of orientation.
