We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Monitor Specialist to join our team at St. Joseph Medical Center.
Responsibilities- Monitor ECG/Dysrhythmia in a physician's office, clinic, hospital, or similar setting.
- Maintain current certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Knowledge of basic anatomy/physiology of the heart.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, clinicians, and the general public.
- Work under moderate pressure for extended periods.
- Accept responsibility for accuracy and response times to emergent and non-emergent requests.
- Communicate clearly and concisely.
- Successful completion of SJMC Clinical Education and Professional Development Dysrhythmia course and EKG exam prior to completion of orientation.
