Job Title: Construction Manager

Insituform Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and facilitating the construction phase of projects, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce company safety regulations, standard operating procedures, and quality standards.
  • Ensure that all work performed meets necessary plans and specifications.
  • Verify quantities, complete traffic plans, and bypass plans, and verify site conditions.
  • Document critical site details through our project management system.
  • Attend pre-construction meetings and ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are delivered on time.
  • Verify that necessary critical documents, local rules, and permits are complete, delivered, and/or posted as required.
  • Confirm utility locations for crews and subcontractors.
  • Verify work and quantities completed with superintendents and subcontractors.
  • Complete daily project reports and monitor and communicate changes in the scope of a project.
  • Communicate the work schedule to the customer as required and notify residents of work schedules as needed.
  • Acquire and process all pre and post videos and samples as required.
  • Process and file all crew and subcontractor logs, safety documents, tap cutting documents, etc. as required.
  • Directly supervise subcontractors and vendors on the project site.
  • Work with customers, crews, and subcontractors to resolve operational and technical issues and challenges.
  • Perform pre-bid activities, including job surveys for estimating as required.
Qualification Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

  • This position requires a minimum of 5 years of field construction management experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A degree from a 4-year university or equivalent education is preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to effectively present information to region management, customers, and the public.
