Our clinicians collaborate closely with families to develop individualized therapy plans, setting ambitious goals that empower children to reach their full potential.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Developmental Therapist to join our team. As a Developmental Therapist, you will deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions to children aged 2-6 in our clinic, adhering to the profession's rigorous standards. You will implement intervention plans developed by our expert Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring alignment with ABA therapy principles.
You will build rapport and maintain ongoing communication with families, providing regular updates on their child's progress within the ABA framework. You will also participate in continuous training and professional development to stay abreast of advancements in ABA therapy and maintain certification.
Qualifications- Preferably enrolled in or completed a degree program, with a focus on Child Development, Psychology, or related fields
- Ability to obtain and maintain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (Soar provides paid training)
- Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism, and a passion for helping them thrive
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Must have reliable transportation to both training location and local center. Punctuality is essential
- Must be able to meet the following physical requirements: sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods of time, sit in a chair, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances to catch up with a client
- Competitive compensation ranging from $20.50 - $26.00/hour, with regular bonus and promotion opportunities; all staff members are considered every 3 months for a raise or promotion
