Job Summary

Premier Group Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Control System Engineer to join their team in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will have experience in ground-up programming and writing PLC / SCADA systems using Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs.

The Control System Engineer will be responsible for writing software for PLCs and SCADA, electrical panel design and integration for machinery, programming of servo and VF drives, and delivering solutions integrating robotics.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in PLC programming, electrical design, and network protocols. Excellent communication skills are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Writing software for PLCs and SCADA
  • Electrical panel design and integration for machinery
  • Programming of servo and VF drives
  • Delivering solutions integrating robotics

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Electrical, Electronic or Automation Engineering
  • PLC Programming experience using Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi or Beckhoff
  • Ability to program at Structured Text level
  • Electrical Design experience
  • Good Network protocol knowledge (Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet etc.)
  • Demonstrable experience in working with Servos, VFDs or Motion Control Products
  • Excellent communication skills
