Job Title: Electrical Control Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Control Systems Engineer to join our team at a leading manufacturer in the automobile industry. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical control systems for new and existing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, variable speed motors, drives, and temperature controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement electrical control systems that meet safety, quality, and process control standards.
  • Supervise and assist maintenance teams in installing and troubleshooting electrical control systems.
  • Manage maintenance equipment programs, including electrical test equipment and software.
  • Maintain electronic records of facility equipment programs and oversee the ordering of replacement electrical components.
  • Evaluate new electronic technologies for potential integration into production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff at all levels of the organization.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of an associate's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Five years of experience in electronics, controls, electrical design, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in PLC ladder logic, preferably with Allen-Bradley systems.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Knowledge or experience in industrial hydraulics, electricity up to 480v, and machinery.
  • Good eye and hand coordination, meeting vision requirements.
  • Ability to obtain necessary licenses and certifications, including tow motor license.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
