Job Title: Industrial Construction Superintendent

GROUP Contractors LLC is seeking an experienced Industrial Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for coordinating all on-site construction activities and supervising field personnel to ensure successful project completion on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and supervise all construction activities
  • Direct field personnel to achieve project completion on schedule, within budget, and with quality workmanship
  • Maintain construction schedule, identify and solve problems
  • Order materials and schedule inspections as necessary
  • Understand project plans and specifications
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and employees
  • Prepare and supervise completion of a final punch list
  • Promote job site safety and encourage safe work practices
  • Ensure all company employees and contractors adhere to the company safety policy
  • Maintain an organized job site, including the construction office
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of field experience and/or degree in Construction Management
  • NCCER Certification in Industrial Carpentry or willingness to test
  • Experience in managing multiple projects
  • Experience in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of construction
  • Valid TWIC Card
  • Valid OSHA Basic Plus
  • Ability to pass all Safety Council related courses
  • Pre-Employment Screening (physical, drug & alcohol screen, audiogram, fit test if applicable)
  • Valid Driver's License to operate company equipment and/or vehicles
Physical Demands:

This position requires standing, sitting, climbing, crawling, standing, crouching, bending, pushing/pulling, walking on uneven surfaces, and exposure to loud noises in a field/jobsite environment. This position is predominately outdoors at an Industrial Construction Site, with exposure to extreme hot or cold outside temperatures possible.

Position Type/Expected Work Hours:

This is a full-time, salaried position with varying days and hours of work. Occasional evening/weekend work or travel may be required as job duties demand.
