Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform bookkeeping duties including data entry, record upkeep, and ensuring financial precision
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, which include vendor bill management and customer payment entries
  • Conduct thorough account reconciliation
  • Assist with legal billing and vendor invoice management
  • Support payroll functions and bank reconciliations
  • Utilize accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, for bookkeeping tasks
  • Comply with GAAP and execute double-entry bookkeeping
  • Accurately process debits and credits
Required Skills:
  • Expertise in accounting software, especially QuickBooks Online
  • Understanding of legal case management systems and their integration with accounting practices
  • Knowledge of tax laws and procedures
  • Strong skills in account and bank reconciliation
  • Experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable operations
  • Comprehensive understanding of GAAP standards
  • Proficiency in Excel and a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Prior experience in a legal environment is a plus
