About the Role

This is a technical leadership role to drive several utility-scale renewable energy projects from early-stage site analysis through drafting and negotiating financing, development, and M&A matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong intellectual curiosity and desire to understand how a project serves clients' goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with clients on mid-market and larger transactions involving solar, wind, and energy storage projects.
  • Interface with colleagues across offices and practice groups and spend time on telephone and video calls with clients.
  • Independently produce client-ready documents and work with others on complex transactions.
Key Requirements:
  • 5-9 years of experience with debt and tax equity project finance and M&A, managing deals and teams.
  • Enjoy the challenge of negotiating and drafting complex transactions.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and desire to understand how a project serves clients' goals.
  • A commitment to client service and team success.
  • Ability to communicate business goals into contract language.
  • JD from an accredited university.
