Engineering Aide Role at Rodriguez

Rodriguez is seeking highly skilled and motivated Engineering Aides to join our team in the exciting field of engineering and surveying. As an Engineering Aide at Rodriguez, you will be part of a talented and dynamic team, working on projects of basic and intermediate scope and complexity using established engineering and surveying principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply engineering and surveying principles to complete projects.
  • Prepare existing conditions and base plans using CADD software.
  • Prepare design plans under engineer direction.
  • Revise drawings in response to agency comments.
  • Utilize GPS and Robotic Total Station for accurate measurements.
  • Collect and attribute data using CAD and GIS software.
  • Perform mathematical calculations for design tasks.
  • Process PA One Call requests, coordinate with agencies.
  • Perform field utility locates using as-built drawings and tools.
  • Stay current with industry trends through education.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Prior participation in an engineering or surveying apprenticeship or workforce development training program is highly valued.
