Job Summary: GAI Consultants is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Engineering to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and development in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of project managers, engineers, and technicians to implement public infrastructure projects and private land development projects.
  • Identify project pursuits, market clients, and manage pursuits, including proposal and presentation preparation.
  • Actively win new work from both new and existing clients by building and maintaining customer relationships, monitoring future work opportunities, and communicating regularly.
  • Collaborate with other GAI services to market and deliver full-service project opportunities to clients.
  • Directly manage projects on time and within budget, maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Monitor and manage the financial aspects of all projects within the group.
  • Travel approximately 15% to other offices, meet with clients, attend project-specific meetings, and business development.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the client base and increase revenue.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in engineering or a related field.
  • Pennsylvania experience preferred.
  • B.S. or M.S. in Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) License, reciprocity in multiple states.
