We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Illuminus, a faith-based, not-for-profit senior living management company dedicated to serving older adults and families throughout the Midwest.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality, person-centered care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans, as well as collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Coordinate and delegate care to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assess resident care needs and develop individualized plans of care.
- Conduct routine checks on residents who are ill or have problems, noting any changes in condition and assisting staff in responding to these changes.
- Convey accurate and adequate assessment information to physicians, residents, responsible parties, and staff.
- Investigate incident reports and errors in procedure through quality assurance and process improvement methodology.
- Attain and maintain adequate personnel and supplies in the nursing department.
- Participate in committee meetings and interdepartmental meetings that align with Quality Assurance Process Improvement Standards.
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin.
- Active CPR certification.
- Knowledge and/or experience in gerontology, long-term care, or a related field.
- Ability to relate well to all individuals, including older adults and their families.
- Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of resident information.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions.
- Ability to adapt to change.
