About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Improvement Nurse to join our team at Central California Alliance for Health. As a Quality Improvement Nurse, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing comprehensive healthcare strategies to improve member health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Manage Healthcare Strategies: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and network providers to develop and manage healthcare strategies that align with Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) standards of care.
  • Evaluate Patient Safety and Quality Issues: Evaluate patient safety and quality issues and communicate findings to internal stakeholders, network providers, and community partners.
  • Participate in Audits and Quality Improvement Initiatives: Participate in internal and external audits and support quality improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Current, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of California. Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a minimum of three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in acute care or primary care with an emphasis on preventative care.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Knowledge of principles and practices of clinical nursing, medical practice operations, and healthcare delivery systems. Proficiency with Windows-based PC systems and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Merced County: $80,189-$128,315 USD
  • Monterey County: $88,123-$141,003 USD
  • Mariposa County: $80,189-$128,315 USD
  • San Benito County: $88,123-$141,003 USD
