We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Improvement Manager to join our team at Sharp HealthCare. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for directing hospice-wide performance improvement activities, quality, and infection control programs.
Key Responsibilities- Directs hospice-wide performance improvement activities, quality, and infection control programs.
- Implements and oversees the Electronic Health Record, including financial and clinical applications.
- Acts as the regulatory and compliance expert and is the system-wide liaison with the compliance department.
- Coordinates all aspects of EHR and other software requirements, upgrades, clinician laptop deployment, billing requirements for payers, and other computer operational requirements.
- Participates in the development of the annual strategic plan and annual entity performance targets.
- Collaborates with hospice leadership team to assess, measure, and report meaningful data such as patient/family satisfaction tools, internal and external benchmarking metrics.
- Ensures annual OSHPD and other reports are completed accurately and timely.
- Participates in budget development and agency productivity.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Prior experience in Quality Improvement/Utilization Management.
- California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing.
- Master's degree in relevant field.
- Prior experience in managerial or leadership position.
- Hospice experience.
- Knowledge of statistical principles required.
- Understanding and application of theoretical and scientific process for continuous quality improvement required.
- Strong computer software and computer network skills required.
- Maintains confidentiality of all quality assessment department information required.
- Upholds California Evidence Code 1157 required.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards in related areas preferred.
