We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team at Skanska USA. As a key member of our heavy civil infrastructure construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing field operations and ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise field labor forces and Assistant Superintendents to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with contract documents, design, budget, and schedule.
- Manage and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are available on site.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all work is being performed safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement plans to improve project efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the construction industry.
- 5+ years of experience in heavy civil infrastructure construction.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects and teams.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols and procedures.
