Skanska is seeking a dynamic Superintendent to lead field operations in assigned areas or aspects of the project. The ideal candidate will ensure that work is performed in a safe, timely, profitable, and ethical manner, in accordance with contract documents, design, budget, and schedule. This role involves direct supervision of field labor forces and Assistant Superintendents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
• Supervise and coordinate field labor forces and Assistant Superintendents
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
• Develop and implement quality control processes
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role in construction
• 5+ years of proven construction experience
• Successful leadership of smaller projects or areas of larger heavy civil projects
• Experience with change order and ticket management
• Experience with schedule updates and look ahead schedules
• Experience with reading and delivering on plans and specs
