We are seeking an experienced Executive Director of Operations and Strategy to join our team at Mercy. This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in driving the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness across the Mercy ministry.
  • Lead the development of analytic platforms to support business decision-making and improve care delivery.
  • Partner with senior leadership teams, physicians, and key stakeholders to facilitate idea generation, strategic discussion, and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with industry partners to identify and facilitate growth of strategic partnerships throughout the value chain.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive health system and ambulatory strategic plans with a focus on orthopedics, cardiovascular, neurosurgery, oncology, and women's health.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of progressive professional experience in hospital operations, health system, or consulting settings.
  • Experience in utilizing integrated technology platforms for strategic planning in a hospital, health system, professional services firm, or other healthcare setting.
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration/Health Administration or a related field.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across the ministry to execute operational performance excellence.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare environment and trends, with ability to translate trends into strategic action.
