Job Summary

SSR is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Plumbing EIT to join our team. As a Plumbing EIT, you will assist senior design staff in executing technical activities on assigned projects and learn discipline-specific technical standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the production of designs using Revit and/or CADD with senior design staff guidance
  • Participate in technical studies, investigations, and design on assigned projects under supervision
  • Learn industry standards and company technical policies and procedures during project execution
  • Assist in the execution of design processes and analysis on assigned projects and request assistance from design staff when needed
  • Perform basic computer-based engineering calculations and system design functions under supervision
  • Assist in the coordination of project designs with other disciplines to determine equipment needs and provide technical information
  • Learn how to communicate design requirements with contractors and equipment sales representatives
  • Accompany senior design staff on project job site visits to investigate field conditions and monitor progress
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, schematics, and engineering reports
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited college
  • Knowledge of industry-specific software (i.e., Revit and AutoCAD)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of engineering theories and methodologies
