Job Summary

As a key member of the BJ's Wholesale Club team, the Warehouse Fulfillment Supervisor plays a critical role in driving club performance and delivering an outstanding member experience. This leadership position is responsible for providing guidance and direction to the Omni team, ensuring operational efficiencies, and maintaining policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Omni team to deliver GOLD club standards daily, focusing on key metrics and reporting for total club and department performance.
  • Drive performance and profitability by using reporting to identify trends and areas of opportunity, and communicate a simple message to the team on the connection between consistent operational performance and achieving club financial targets.
  • Process member purchases in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner, pulling merchandise from a pick list, building and shrink-wrapping packages, and moving merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area.
  • Update merchandise locations and operating equipment to maintain consistency and organization with product placement and staging areas.
  • Utilize a handheld scanner device to pick orders from the sales floor, verify merchandise, and master the utilization of digital devices.
  • Communicate problems with inventory and/or equipment with Home Office and recommend process improvements with inventory discrepancies.
  • Identify expired or short-dated items included on the pick list and communicate concerns with Club Leadership.
  • Ensure all orders are picked in a timely manner to meet all productivity requirements, working with a high level of urgency to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Teach, coach, and train Omni Experience Ambassadors on club policies and procedures and best order-pulling practices.
  • Directly manage and assess Team Member performance, provide actionable feedback, and coach, teach, and develop talent.
  • Work with the club team to have merchandise pulled from the reserve area when possible, to avoid sales floor replenishment.
  • Ensure the product is properly wrapped and secured to the pallet prior to transport, clearly labeling pallets with required information, and oversee the package carrier pickup.
  • Print staging tickets, packing slips, shipping labels, and other related documents.
  • Securely package the order in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Process the shipment through BJ's Fulfillment Center.
  • Ensure the SFC/BOPIC area is neat, clean, and organized, performing general housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard from the work area.
  • Process returns to the club and make determinations on how to handle them (via DDR or Membership desk).
  • Review and manage daily and weekly OMNI reporting.
  • Manage and maintain company standards regarding SLAs and goals.
  • Review ordering and replenishment of supplies for the department.
  • Maintain all club policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate leadership capabilities, including driving team member engagement, managing/supervising cross-functional teams, training team members, and driving and communicating results.
  • Committed to driving outstanding service to all Members.
  • Open shift availability required.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Previous supervisor experience preferred.
  • Previous order-pulling experience preferred.
  • Previous RF scanner experience preferred.
  • Computer proficiency required.
