Job Summary:

As a Material Handler at Adecco US, Inc., you will play a crucial role in supporting our assembly process. Your primary responsibilities will include pulling material orders, setting priorities based on production dates, and delivering incoming components to the correct bin location. Additionally, you will prepare finished assemblies for shipping, which involves inspection, packaging, and label making. You will also help coordinate shipping efforts by creating packaging slips and performing shipping transactions. Furthermore, you will perform various assembly operations, check on material inventory, and update inventory counts in our ERP system. If you have experience with cycle counting and inventory control, and are able to lift 50 lbs, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities:

Pull material orders daily and set priorities based on production dates

Deliver incoming components to the correct bin location

Prepare finished assemblies for shipping, including inspection, packaging, and label making

Help coordinate shipping efforts by creating packaging slips and performing shipping transactions

Perform various assembly operations, including assembling small and medium-sized precision units or sub-assemblies involving many parts for kitting

Check on material inventory and notify supervisor of changes

Update inventory counts in ERP when adding or removing products

Perform cycle counting

Track daily output and notify supervisor of changes

Properly fill out production documentation

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience with cycle counting and inventory control a plus

Material handling experience in manufacturing and/or warehouse environment preferred

Beginner to mid-level computer and math skills

Ability to lift 50 lbs
