Painters Supply & Equipment is seeking a skilled Delivery Driver/Paint Supplies Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering paint and related products to our local customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a company vehicle in accordance with all state and federal laws, maintaining a safe and acceptable driving record.
  • Maintain the company vehicle, alerting the supervisor to any repair or servicing needs.
  • Provide delivery documents as required, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Alert sales representatives to potential sales leads from customers or potential customers.
  • Clean and maintain all areas and equipment as assigned.
  • Load merchandise to ensure safety and security, unloading deliveries at customer sites as directed.
  • Return materials, color matches, and tools for repair from customers to the store and/or warehouse.
  • Prepare paint orders, including mixing, utilizing standard and custom formulas.
  • Assist in filling orders, including proper staging per company/store policy.
  • Pick up merchandise from local vendors as needed.
  • Assist with inside customer service, including servicing customers and/or processing their orders.
  • Answer telephone calls in a professional manner, answering questions knowledgeably and/or taking customer orders.
  • Load/unload merchandise from trucks, matching packing slips with purchase orders.
  • Properly dispose of waste cans and product in compliance with company and governmental regulations.
Requirements
  • Must be licensed to operate a vehicle in accordance with state, federal, and provincial law.
  • Must have an acceptable driving record from the DMV/MTO.
  • Must be able to continuously lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Candidates must submit to a drug screen and meet acceptable Motor Vehicle Report requirements upon hiring.
