**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Advisor/Writer to join our team at Puente Hills Hyundai. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring prompt and courteous service, addressing customer concerns, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Service Experience: Be responsible for the entire customer service experience from the service drive until the vehicle is turned back over to the customer, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
  • Appointment Scheduling and Estimates: Schedule appointments and generate estimates for customers, providing clear and concise information about the services required and the associated costs.
  • Vehicle Maintenance and Repair: Advise customers on the care of their vehicles and the value of maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications, ensuring they understand the importance of regular maintenance and repairs.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate to the customer the timeline of repair and maintenance, providing regular updates and ensuring they are informed throughout the process.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Document repair and maintenance changes on repair orders in the approved manner, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Customer Complaint Resolution: Resolve customer complaints and questions in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring their concerns are addressed and resolved to their satisfaction.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong, positive working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business, fostering long-term clientele.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: At least six months to one year of experience in the automotive industry or a related field, or completion of a relevant training program.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies, excellent customer service skills, ability to be analytical and multi-task, ability to work with little supervision, self-motivated and enthusiastic presence in a team environment, strong written and communication skills, consistent and stable work history, valid driver's license, and clean driving record.
