Schedule:
Our team operates on a standard Monday to Friday schedule, with varying start and end times to accommodate the needs of our customers.

Job Responsibilities:
As an Auction Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles through our auction lanes, as well as to and from designated areas on our premises and to customer dealerships and businesses. You will be expected to follow all safety and health procedures, as well as model safe driving behaviors. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Driving vehicles to and from designated areas, observing Auction driving rules, rules of the road, and demonstrating courtesy and defensive driving principles.
  • Assisting with getting vehicles operating as needed, including inflating tires and jump-starting vehicles using a battery box and air tank.
  • Locating lost vehicles and assisting customers and coworkers as needed.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
A valid driver's license is required, and you must be able to safely enter and exit vehicles. You will also be required to sit for prolonged periods, walk long distances, and stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear. Additionally, you may be required to lift 1-15 pounds and have the ability to adjust focus.

Preferred:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, as well as the ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission. Previous auction experience is also a plus.

Work Environment:
As an Auction Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions and moderate noise levels. The hourly pay rate is $14.42, and you may be eligible for additional compensation, including commission and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.

Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
