Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our team at the University of California San Francisco. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care to critically ill children with complex congenital heart disease.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Function as a member of the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
- Perform established nursing care for patients with complex needs, with assistance and supervision as needed.
- Assist with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team.
- A minimum of one year of recent RN experience in Pediatric Critical Care (PICU, NICU, or PCICU) or a minimum of two years of recent RN experience in Adult Cardiac ICU.
- Active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- Active American Heart Association CPR Certification.
- Active American Heart Association PALS Certification.
- The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations.
- One year recent RN experience in a Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.
- CCRN Certification.
- BSN.
