About the Role

The Customer Account Manager (CAM) is a critical position at Crane Aerospace & Electronics, responsible for managing all commercial activities with assigned Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers. This role requires a strong business acumen, leadership, and problem-solving skills to work with large, cross-functional teams and ensure that the requirements of the business, contracts, and customers are being met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leads the development of profitable business proposals and manages Crane Aerospace & Electronics approval through the business committee process.
  • Executes pricing strategies and plans to maximize the value of Crane Aerospace & Electronics products and services.
  • Becomes a subject matter expert on assigned customer contracts and leads successful negotiations of terms and conditions, major contract changes, and resolution of contractual disputes.
  • Leverages exceptional presentation and communication skills to effectively propose and present strategies to execute Crane Aerospace & Electronics targeted goals and objectives to large, cross-functional teams.
  • Manages and coordinates escalation and resolution of issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to comprehend complex technical and commercial details to communicate customers' needs and requirements.
  • Understands and manages information flow related to specific customer and/or market demand.
  • Develops knowledge of the Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) and systems at Crane Aerospace & Electronics to support detailed forecasting, demand management, and contract compliance.
  • Establishes close relationships and linkages with appropriate levels of customer purchasing, technical, and program management personnel.
  • Establishes close linkages with Crane Aerospace & Electronics manufacturing, supply chain, business development, sales, quality, and technical support teams.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in business management, program management, sales, and business development in an Aerospace environment.
  • Experience in the Aerospace Industry and International Business (depending on account assignment).
  • Data-driven with strong analytical skills and business acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex aerospace contracts and proposals.
  • Demonstrated success negotiating and responding to government contracting proposals as well as terms and conditions, as required.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • BA or BS degree required. Preferably in Business Management/Administration or relevant field of study. MBA preferred.
Eligibility

This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access, only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
