Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote awareness and adherence to safety procedures.
- Implement and monitor safety programs and policies to meet OSHA and other standards.
- Develop and manage programs for hazard communication, PPE, lockout/tagout, electrical safety, confined space entry, fire protection, and other safety compliance areas.
- Coordinate accident prevention programs, investigate incidents, and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations, advise management, and oversee inspections and reporting.
- Administer and track health and safety training for employees and contractors.
- Analyze and mitigate health and safety hazards for operations.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and revise SOPs as needed.
- Assist with emergency response planning and training.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety or related field preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or safety preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA, state regulations, and NFPA.
- Strong communication and training skills.
- Ability to resolve technical issues independently.
- Experience with multi-shift operations and emergency management.
- Proficient in Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
