About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Specialist to join our team at Michael Page. As an EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting awareness and adherence to safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety programs and policies to meet OSHA and other regulatory standards.
  • Conduct hazard assessments and develop mitigation strategies to reduce risks.
  • Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations and advise management on necessary actions.
  • Administer and track health and safety training for employees and contractors.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or safety.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, state regulations, and NFPA.
  • Strong communication and training skills.
  • Ability to resolve technical issues independently.
  • Experience with multi-shift operations and emergency management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
