Key Responsibilities- Assist with operating the MAT program's front office/admissions office, ensuring a smooth flow of clients through the inquiry and admission process.
- Perform daily financial functions, including processing payments, spreadsheet balancing, and monthly/quarterly reports.
- Oversee the overall operation of the business office, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of transactions reported to the Program Director.
- Provide quality customer service, answering calls/questions concerning the outpatient program accurately and professionally.
- Manage daily operations of the outpatient admissions office, including preparing Excel spreadsheets for admission fees, U/A fees, and annual update fees.
- Direct and organize daily responsibilities and workflow, establishing and maintaining appropriate boundaries with patients, Multidisciplinary Treatment Team, and colleagues.
- Prepare, type, sort, and file documentation as necessary and requested accurately and timely.
- Conduct clinic tours with prospective patients, family members, and visitors, and complete admission process with outpatient program clients in a professional and timely manner.
- Collect patient payments daily and provide accurate payment receipts to patients, posting payments to spreadsheet accurately.
- Assist in performing patient chart audits accurately and timely, reporting deficiencies to appropriate personnel.
- Compile and maintain insurance and third-party payer billing and payment reports, contacts, and account balances.
- Provide input into leadership meetings regarding PI/QA activities, and interview prospective employees and make employment recommendations and decisions.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, Associates Degree or higher preferred.
- Management and Supervision experience.
- Experience in the Substance Abuse field preferred.
- Knowledge of the disease process of substance use disorders, dual diagnoses, opioid use disorder, recovery support services, and common procedural terminology (CPT coding) required.
The employee is expected to participate in appropriate continuing education as requested and required by their immediate supervisor, and maintain current professional certifications as delineated above in their state, in good standing.
