Position Summary:

Utilize the daily operational schedule to manage the unloading and storage of incoming oil ingredients, while also performing sanitation tasks in the tank farm areas. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) to uphold essential food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate the unloading and storage of incoming oil ingredients according to the daily schedule, alongside sanitation duties in the tank farm areas. Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) to maintain food safety.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • Preferred: 1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Preferred: Experience in railcar unloading or formulation processes
Skills Required:
  • Strong math and reading abilities
  • Mechanical aptitude for rebuilding valves and equipment as necessary, along with good hand-eye coordination
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all tanks, processes, piping, and equipment. Ability to execute emergency shutdowns and configurations. Proficient in the operation of all tanks and pumps
  • Ability to multitask effectively to fulfill daily responsibilities
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Physical Requirements:
This role regularly involves intermittent sitting, standing, walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling. Physical strength and dexterity are necessary to perform required tasks. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more with assistance. Additional physical demands may be required.

Work Environment:
Work schedules may include after-hours and weekends as necessary. Employees may work outdoors and in extreme temperatures, including high heat, cold, and humidity. Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibrations may occur. Personal protective equipment must be worn as per established safety standards. Work may also be required in confined spaces and at heights exceeding 18 feet for extended periods.
