About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Community Association Director to join our team at The Helsing Group, Inc. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our client associations and providing exceptional customer service to their members.

Job Description

As a Community Association Director, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of assigned properties, including ensuring compliance with company objectives and facilitating solutions to problems between communities and internal support staff. You will work closely with our clients' Boards of Directors to provide guidance and support in meeting their operational obligations and fiduciary duties.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to build strong relationships with peers, supervisors, clients, and people of diverse backgrounds. Critical thinking and the ability to communicate complex thoughts in a clear and articulate manner are essential skills for this role. Strong documentation skills and attention to detail are also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage community associations as a member of a management team
  • Perform monthly community inspections and maintenance transfer walks to proactively address issues
  • Ensure client association files are fully maintained and organized
  • Work directly with client association boards of directors to provide support and guidance
  • Prepare for, attend, and provide guidance at client association board meetings
  • Implement directives from client boards of directors
  • Review client association financial statements and invoices for accuracy
  • Provide customer service to association members
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree (preferably in business administration or a related field)
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn conflict resolution techniques
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
