Job Summary:

Herzing University is seeking a qualified Dental Assistant Instructor to join our team. As an adjunct faculty member, you will play a vital role in teaching and mentoring students in our Dental Assisting program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and assess students in lab classes such as Dental Materials, Chairside, and Expanded Functions
  • Work closely with a lead faculty member to develop and implement curriculum
  • Participate in curriculum feedback and development to contribute to ongoing program improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Clinical experience as a Dental Assistant
  • Active Minnesota Dental Assisting License
  • Current DANB Certification (CDA)
  • Associate's degree required to teach in lab and clinical settings; Bachelor's degree required to teach didactic courses
