Job Summary

The Patient Access Registration Representative is a key member of the Inspira Health Network team, responsible for providing a comprehensive and proactive patient experience. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register patients in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring all necessary information is collected and verified.
  • Investigate and resolve patient issues, providing a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Verify insurance information and determine patient financial responsibility using hospital systems and tools.
  • Collect patient responsibility amounts and process payments as necessary.
  • Review and explain hospital consent forms and registration documents to patients, securing signatures as required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalency required.
  • Some college and/or CHAA certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer service and conflict resolution.
  • Hospital and insurance registration experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus.
  • Base knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT coding preferred.
  • Computer proficiency required, with typing skills of 30-40 WPM.
Physical Requirements

The Patient Access Registration Representative must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 20 pounds. The ability to travel among hospital sites is preferred.
