At ADP - Bluegrass Superior Foods, we are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with mechanical aptitude to perform routine maintenance around the building, install and repair machinery, and apply preventive measures to reduce future problems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks such as fixing structural damage, window repair, door, wall, or floor repair.
  • Applying preventive measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems.
  • Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
  • Dismantling machinery and removing/ replacing defective parts.
  • Maintaining tools and supplies in good condition.
  • Keeping maintenance records up-to-date and correctly filled.
  • Ensuring the work area is clean and organized.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technician/mechanical certifications preferred but not required.
  • BASIC MECHANICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED.
  • Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working around the building.
  • Ability to move and lift heavy objects.
  • Attention to detail to ensure all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner.
  • Great problem-solving skills.
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with employees effectively.
