Job Summary:

The Maintenance Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the company's facilities by performing preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and promoting safety protocols. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Performing Routine Maintenance Tasks: Follow established procedures to perform routine maintenance tasks, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Read and interpret schematics to diagnose and repair equipment issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work performed using the current maintenance system and other reporting structures as determined by the supervisor.
  • Improving Efficiency: Collaborate with the team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce unscheduled downtime.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Effectively communicate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, plus at least 3 years of related experience in a production environment.
  • Safety Protocols: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Repair and Maintenance Skills: Troubleshoot and repair machines, use a wide range of power tools, and comprehend hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical prints.
  • Physical Demands: Able to lift 50lbs, work overtime as needed, and meet the physical demands of the job.
Estimated Salary:

$55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
