Job Title: Senior Principal Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team at Collins Aerospace, an RTX company. As a key member of our Precision Navigation (PNav) Hardware department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating electrical systems for our Air Traffic Navigation, Integration and Coordination System (ATNAVICS) program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems for ATNAVICS program, including RF and digital circuit card assembly (CCA) design, development, integration, and test.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve build issues and ensure timely delivery of components.
  • Debug electrical issues in the lab and provide technical support to manufacturing teams.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, diagrams, and test procedures.
  • Lead a team of engineers to design, develop, and integrate electrical systems for ATNAVICS program.
Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge of microwave and digital circuit design.
  • Experience with electrical engineering design tools for circuit and electromagnetic simulation (Keysight ADS, CST, or equivalent).
  • Experience in a lab environment operating RF and standard test equipment, including spectrum and network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, etc.
  • Ability to perform and report EVMS data.
  • Experience leading a team of multiple engineers.
  • Willingness to support efforts that require domestic travel and potential international travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of radar system theory.
  • Experience with printed wiring board (PWB) manufacturing.
  • Experience with schematic capture and board layout tools.
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers.
